Why Canadian Paint

Engineered for performance and the planet

A water-borne latex resin system combined with high-quality pigments and performance additives — for adhesion, washability and lasting resistance to film degradation.

Extreme Weather Resistant

Maintains film integrity from −40°C to +40°C once fully cured. Resists cracking, peeling and blistering through seasonal expansion and contraction.

Eco-Friendly & Low Odour

Low-VOC formulation with no hazardous air pollutants and low odour during application. GREENGUARD Gold certified for indoor air quality.

7–10 Year Service Life

Under normal exposure and proper preparation, expect a lifespan of 7 to 10 years — a durable, washable finish that keeps its colour depth.

Smooth, Versatile Application

Apply by synthetic bristle brush, lint-free roller or spray on drywall, plaster, wood, masonry and previously painted substrates.

Fast Dry, Quick Recoat

Touch-dry in 45–60 minutes with a minimum 3-hour recoat interval — two coats deliver optimal colour depth and a uniform finish.

How to Apply

Application & spray guidelines

Proper preparation is critical for performance. A quick reference for brush, roller and spray application.

Surface Prep & Application

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease, soap residue and mildew.
  • Remove all loose or flaking paint; lightly sand glossy areas to improve adhesion.
  • Wash previously coated areas with a TSP solution and rinse thoroughly.
  • Stir thoroughly before use; apply by synthetic bristle brush or lint-free roller (~10 mm nap).
  • Apply between 5°C and 38°C, relative humidity below 50%, with good ventilation.
  • Two coats recommended — allow the minimum 3-hour recoat interval between them.

Spray Guidelines

  • Conventional spray: dilute 10–15% with clean water; nozzle 1.8–2.0 mm; 40–45 PSI.
  • Airless / air-assisted: nozzle 0.013–0.017; pressure 1500–2500 PSI; dilute 5–8% water.
  • Compatible tips: RAC X 213–617; Kremlin minimum 06xx series.
  • Recommended viscosity: minimum 75–80 KU.
  • Clean-up: wash tools immediately with hot or clean water after use.
  • During pauses, clean the nozzle & air cap and seal containers to prevent skin formation.
